Village Underground (a rooftop in Shoreditch)

Yesterday I was kindly given access to Village Underground's rooftop in Shoreditch to shoot what I had hoped would be quite unique shots. Of course other people have done it before but I always try and be different so hopefully I managed that.

Village Underground is based in East London and was opened in 2007, it could be described as a non profit art platform, a cultural space, a studio for artists, an ecological project, quite a lot of things actually! Overall a very cool place.

This building is particularly noticeable because of the tube carriages and shipping containers on its roof (used as offices for creatives), very appropriate as the site used to be a rail viaduct built in 1848.
